knew a prince* so kind
with a very fine mind.
He gave to the prince
the frilly edged truffle,
he grabbed it and ran
to fill up his duffle.
The prince Carter kissed
but wished he had missed,
for he turned to a dog
and jumped a fat frog.
The frog rolled his eyes and
asked for chocolate pies
and the chocolate shop owner named Carter
soon had to work even harder.
